Subject: URGENT: Remove Central Avenue's Parking Pay Stations NOW!!!
To Mayor Healy and other elected officials representing the Jersey City Heights;
WE, the undersigned, DEMAND the immediate removal of the failed pay station parking system along the Central Avenue business district in the Jersey City Heights. After three (3) years worth of halfhearted attempts to fix the flawed pay station parking system, Enough is Enough! The coin meter system is more practical and is still the better system. It is time to remove the parking pay stations for the following reasons:
⢠IT FAILS to efficiently manage the parking needs of visitors, shoppers, senior citizens, local residents, and the business community in the Stateâs 2nd largest city.
⢠IT FAILS to follow through with Mayor Healyâs call to make city âBusiness Friendlyâ
⢠IT FAILS because it punishes shoppers for staying local
⢠IT FAILS because a $400,000 investment should not ignore user feedback
⢠IT FAILS because parking before shopping should not be a complicated process.
Please take action now to have the Parking Pay Stations removed from Central Avenue.
