This scandal has been reportedly widely by the Illinois Review blog, as well as Fox Chicago News.
As we are all suffering from the poor economy, a rising tax burden and budget deficits for our local and state governments -- this abuse of our tax dollars is not only illegal, it is an insult to each and every taxpayer in Illinois.
Please fully investigate State Rep. Froehlich, as well as anybody at the Cook County Board of Review who may have been complicit in this scheme.
It's time for the Illinois corruption to stop.
