Senator Durbin:
I was troubled at your recent remarks in which you belittled those American taxpayers who have spoken out against the government-run health care scheme supported by you and President Obama.
We have a right to speak out on policy issues. It's called free speech.
But, since you complained about health care protests are being "orchestrated" -- I wonder if you will speak out against the pro-Obamacare activists who hand out fliers and signs at Congressional town hall meetings.
Or how about the SEIU Big Labor thugs who assaulted a conservative activist in Missouri?
Or what about congressional staff members who sneak SEIU members in the back door of town hall meetings?
Are "orchestrated protests" only okay if they're organized by liberal activists?
I request that you publicly apologize for insulting the taxpayers who have openly expressed their views on health care.
And I call on you to denounce liberal activists who have taken to violence to threaten those who oppose the government-run health care scheme pending in Congress.
